25 February 2019, OCSC welcomed Senior Government Officials from Bangladesh on a Study Visit Program organized by Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). This study visit to the OCSC aimed to broaden their perspectives on human resource management based on Thailand’s experiences.
During the visit, the delegation was briefed on an overview of OCSC’s roles and responsibilities, emphasizing on the difference of civil servants management systems in central and provincial agencies and local agencies. Following a big picture of civil servants management, there was a presentation on Merit System and sharing of experiences on execution of Merit System Protection in Thai Civil Service.
Lastly, the study visit was concluded with a brief on High Performance and Potential System (HiPPS), which a talent management designed for context of Thai Civil Servants and that leading to a discussion of views and challenges of implementation of HiPPS.
