Potential Cooperation on Human Resource Management between Thailand and Kenya
On 6 March 2019, H.E. Mr. Patrick Simiyu Wamoto, Ambassador of the Republic of Kenya to the Kingdom of Thailand, accompanied by Mr. James Otsuila Nyongesa, First Secretary, paid a courtesy call on Mrs. Methini Thepmani, the Secretary General of the Office of the Civil Service Commission (OCSC) upon the completion of his duty in Thailand before assuming his new position as a Commissioner of Public Service Commission of Kenya.
On this occasion, both sides exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, including human resource management and development in the public sector and discussed potential cooperation between the Republic of Kenya and Thailand. The Ambassador of the Republic of Kenya expressed his intention to strengthen relations between the two countries and to learn from experiences of Thailand in the areas of public management, human resource management and development as well as merit protection in the public sector.
